1) WHAT IS IT YOU DO, EXACTLY?

SOS PC Rescue is a data recovery service. If you or your computer have lost any of your files or you simply can't locate or access them for any reason, we're here to find them and retrieve them for you.

2) IF MY FILES HAVE BEEN DELETED IN ERROR AND EVEN EMPTIED FROM THE RECYCLE BIN CAN YOU STILL RECOVER THEM?

In 99% of cases, yes.

3) IF MY COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS AND MY FILES MAY HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED, WILL YOU STILL BE ABLE TO RETRIEVE THEM?

In most cases, yes. However, there will be rare cases when some files may have been damaged beyond repair. Despite this, we should be able to recover the majority of the files.

4) IF MY COMPUTER WON'T START UP, CAN YOU STILL RETRIEVE THE FILES?

Yes. In most cases, the damage will have occurred to the computer's operating system so your personal files will be intact.

5) MY COMPUTER HAS BEEN REFORMATTED. CAN YOU STILL RECOVER MY FILES?

If the files existed prior to the most recent reformat, yes.

6) SO YOU'VE FOUND MY FILES, WHAT NEXT?

Once we have found your files, we put them onto the format of your choice, either DVD or CD.

7) WHAT ABOUT THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM WITH MY PC?

If there was a fault with your operating system preventing it from starting up we may be able to fix this problem. Otherwise we can reinstall the operating system so you can safely transfer your files back onto your PC. You may need to provide us with the hardware driver discs and system restore disc that came with your equipment - so always keep them somewhere safe!

8) HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PC/HARD DRIVE BACK TO ME?

In almost all cases, a couple of days at the most. Of course, if the problem is more serious we may need to keep it a little longer but we try to ensure that you will never be without your PC/hard drive for more than a week.
